The Watcher

"When we are in the forest enjoying a hike, are we watching nature, or is nature watching us? It is always both."

I drew The Watcher to capture that quiet, heavy presence of the woods. Using dense, high-contrast black and white linework, the piece explores tension and camouflage. The intricate texture of the bear is designed to simultaneously emerge from and dissolve back into the stark, chaotic vertical lines of the trees.

To preserve the sharp contrast and fine, hand-etched details of the original linework, I chose to offer this piece as a premium gallery print. The low-glare finish ensures those deep blacks remain crisp and immersive, whether pinned directly to a studio wall or professionally framed in a living space.

The Details:

  • The Paper: Printed on museum-grade, archival paper with a premium, low-glare satin finish.

  • The Ink: High-end pigmented inks ensure the heavy black linework remains sharp and intense without fading over time.

  • The Fit: Available in standard sizes to easily accommodate off-the-shelf gallery frames.
